Buhari To Swap Boko Haram Prisoners For Chibok Girls

President Muhammadu Buhari recently stated that he is willing to swap Boko Haram prisoners for the Chibok girls. One of those, who may be freed to save the schoolgirls abducted more than two years ago, is notorious Boko Haram terrorist Kabiru Sokoto convicted for the killing of over 50 worshipers at the Mandalla Catholic Church near Abuja on 2011 Christmas Day.

The Human Rights Writers Association of Nigeria (HURIWA) has appealed to President Buhari to tell Nigerians if he has released Kabiru Sokoto. Comrade Emmanuel Onwubiko, the group’s national coordinator and the Miss Zainab Yusuf, media affairs director, in a statement on September 11, reminded the president specifically that prior to his sentencing, the terror mastermind was blamed for withholding information on the plan to bomb St. Theresa Church.

The statement reads in part:“Sokoto was further accused of supporting act of terrorism by training 500 men and inciting them to commit terrorist act, contrary to Section 4(1)(a) and punishable under Section 33(1)(b) of Terrorism and Prevention Act 2011. “The accused allegedly facilitated the commission of terrorist act to wit by planting and encouraging some boys (now at large) at Mabira, Sokoto in Sokoto State with the intention to bomb the police headquarters and some other government agencies in the state. “The alleged offense is contrary to Section 15(2) of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (Establishment) Act 2004 and punishable under the same Act.”

Recently the deadly Boko Haram sect unveiled another video, in which the terrorists told the Nigerian government and the world that the group’s members held in various prisons be released before the girls could be freed. Speaking in Nairobi during his working visit President Buhari restated his government’s willingness to negotiate with the terrorists to save the girls. However, the reports emerged later that Buhari’s secret moves for the swap failed.

Savvy Shields Wins Miss America 2017

The title of Miss America was claimed by Miss Arkansas, Savvy Shields. She defeated the 51 other contestants as she came out as a winner. Her success was assured when her jazz routine in the preliminary talent competition won everyone's hearts. 

And as for the question and answer portion, she was queried about the Democratic Presidential nominee Hilary Clinton.

"If you're trying to be a leader of the free world, everything you say and do matters and all of your actions are held to a higher standard," Shields said. "Both of the contestants have done a good job, but they also need to watch what they're doing."

"I want to hopefully work in a museum and teach at a collegiate level," she talks about the future.

Other finalists in the top 15 were Massachusetts; Kentucky; Washington; Arkansas; Idaho; South Carolina; Texas; Iowa; Oklahoma; California; Maryland; New York; Tennessee; Mississippi and Louisiana.

"Our country was founded on compromise," she said. "I really think we're in a state now where both parties seem to just be yelling at each other. I hope that by the end of my year, we're starting to reward politicians on compromising instead of just defending themselves.''

"I have two daughters...I think its important for them to have role models who are confident and savvy," Cuban said in the conference.

"It's awesome as a woman to see you get this moment," Ciara urged Shields. "I just encourage you to enjoy this moment, because when great things like this happen, they can sometimes pass you by."

World: A Sharp Shooter Kills Top ISIS Executioner and Three Other Jihadists With a Single Bullet

A sharpshooter killed a top ISIS executioner and three other jihadists with a single bullet from nearly a mile away — just seconds before the fiend was set to burn 12 hostages alive with a flamethrower, according to a new report.

The British Special Air Service marksman turned one of the most hated terrorists in Syria into a fireball by using a Barett .50-caliber rifle to strike a fuel tank affixed to the jihadi’s back, the UK’s Daily Starreported Sunday.

The pack exploded, killing the sadistic terrorist and three of his flunkies, who were supposed to film the execution, last month, the paper said.

The ISIS butcher — who reportedly delighted in burning hostages alive — had been on a US “kill list” for several months, sources told the paper, which did not identify the sniper or the executioner.

He and his band of wicked men had been traveling around ISIS-held compounds in Syria slaughtering civilians labeled as spies.

Their prisoners were tied to stakes or thrown in cages before being torched by the executioner, according to the report.

ISIS started using flamethrowers after the torture method was popularized in North Korea.

The ISIS killer was so feared that his victims would beg to be shot rather than be set on fire.

Just before the sniper rescue operation outside of Raqqa, Syria, “the SAS team moved into an overwatch position above a village where they were told the execution was going to take place,” a source told the Star.

“Up to 12 civilians were going to be murdered — eight men and four women.

“The executioner gave some sort of rambling speech . . . then when he finished, the SAS sniper opened fire,” the source said.

The captives were then rescued by British and US special forces.

The rescue comes just months after another SAS sniper killed two ISIS car bombers as they drove toward Libya. The sniper’s bullet went through the driver’s skull and into the passenger’s neck, taking both out.

Although Kathy and Brandon Gunn have been married since Sept. 1, 2007, they still had one wedding gift that they hadn't opened – until this May. Kathy wrote a post explaining why they'd waited to open the gift, which was from her great Aunt Alison and was attached to a note that read, "Do not open until your first disagreement." "Now, there had obviously been plenty of disagreements, arguments and slammed doors throughout our 9 years," she wrote in the post, which was shared by the page Love What Matters on August 29. "There were even a couple of instances where we both considered giving up … but we never opened the box." 

Kathy admits that they'd avoided opening the box after all these years because they thought it would have symbolized a failure. "To us, it would have meant that we didn't have what it takes to make our marriage work – and we're both to stubborn and determined for that," she wrote. "So it forced us to reassess situations. Was it really time to open the box? What if this isn't our worst fight? What if there's a worse one ahead of us and we don't have our box?!"

Recall that there has been reports circulating in the media that Genevieve Nnaji was left heartbroken in Milan after her Igbo fiance reportedly cancelled their private wedding at the last minute 

The pretty Nollywood single mother was reported to have sparked off a secret romance with Ugochukwu Udezue, a wealthy NBA basketball agent based in Denver, Colorado last year.

Her lover reportedly proposed to her around the time she was seen flaunting a huge engagement ring on her official Instagram page.
